As lockdown measures are further eased, Somerset County Council continues to work tirelessly with partners to help support communities in these challenging times. They are hosting a free of charge ‘COVID-19 Advice and support for Somerset businesses’ webinar and Q&A session next Wednesday (22 July), 7-8pm open to all Somerset businesses (click this link https://tinyurl.com/weblomp next Wednesday if you’d also like to join).
During the Webinar, Trudi Grant Director of Public Health will be online offering advice to businesses on how to stay safe and what to do if you have a suspected or confirmed case. Trudi will be joined by Cllr David Hall, Cabinet Member with responsibility for Somerset’s economy and Paul Hickson, Assistant Director of the Council’s Economy team who will discuss the measures the Council and partners have put in place to support businesses recover, prosper and grow.
The attached leaflets for businesses set out the steps a business or accommodation provider should take if a customer or staff member has a suspected or confirmed case.
