The situation in regards to Coronavirus – COVID 19 is changing on a daily basis and therefore Durleigh Parish Council recommends people with questions and concerns with regard to this issue refer to the specific pages, of the UK Government, Sedgemoor District Council and Somerset County Council websites, following the links below:
As a Parish Council we realise that there may be parishioners that need additional help in these unprecedented times, such as help with deliveries if people are self-isolating. We recommend that you try to ensure that you have support networks in place with your family, friends and neighbours. However, if you have no other means of support and need emergency supplies or prescriptions collected, please contact the Clerk in the first instance, or the Chairman or a member of the Parish Council whose details are on this website. If this is the case, we will do our best to help you.
If we can politely ask that if contacting by telephone, please do so between 9:00-18:00. If outside of these hours, you can still contact us at the email address on the ‘Contacts’ page on this website and we will pick it up and contact you the following morning.
Lastly, please ensure that you share this message to those within the parish (we are happy for this to be copied to social media platforms), but please also let people know verbally, especially those that may not have access to the internet.
